What to Know

  • Western Association of Schools and College, Accreditation Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities (WASC-SCUC)
  • Western Association of Schools and college, Accrediting Commission for Community Colleges and Junior Colleges (WASC-ACCJC)

Credits will be reviewed and/or accepted if a student carries a grade of C- or better in their completed courses. Courses not awarded credit by the student鈥檚 previous institution(s) cannot be transferred. Remedial, developmental, and technical/vocational courses are not accepted as transfer credit.

No more than 60 semester hours will be awarded in transfer from a two- year institution.

Grade point averages (GPAs) from other institutions do not transfer to Thomas More. A Thomas More GPA will be established after a student鈥檚 first semester of classes.

Courses with a Pass/Satisfactory grade will typically only be accepted as general elective credit only.

Students must earn at least 25% of their credit hours through instruction offered by 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料, exclusive of transfer credit and credit earned through the consortium program.

In order to earn a degree in a specific major, students must complete at least 18 of the required major hours from Thomas More for a bachelor鈥檚 degree or 9 hours for an associate degree.

Extra-Institutional Learning includes, but is not limited to: ACE, RECALL, CLEP, Dantes, Challenge Test, and credit for work or professional training, including military training.

Of the accepted number of transfer credits listed above, the maximum number of credits awarded for 鈥渆xtra-institutional learning鈥 which may be applied to a bachelor鈥檚 degree is 60, to the associate degree is 30, and to the certificate is 8.
