Gifts to The Fund for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ are used for the current-year operating budget and are fully expended during the fiscal year in which the gifts are received. On the other hand, designated gifts are earmarked for a specific purpose, such as an endowed scholarship, programs or building projects.

Because °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ is a non-profit (501c3) institution, contributions are tax deductible. A charitable gift annuity is when you transfer cash or other assets to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ, and in return, the University promises to pay you or a designee an annuity for life, or for a term of years. With a gift annuity, you can simultaneously make a charitable gift and provide guaranteed payments for life for one or two persons.
